Please submit student work related to the issue topic. We relish the opportunity to support young writers by publishing their work. Students are encouraged to submit poems and editorials, as well as artwork to be considered for cover designs. Artwork should be submitted via the internet in high-resolution photographs.
Book Reviews
Deadline: Ongoing
The ever-growing collection of educational literature can be as daunting as it is beneficial. If you have read a particularly inspiring piece and would like to share a review, please consider doing so. In addition to academic writing, consider reviewing new fiction, non-fiction, and poetry that could be positive additions to the ELA classroom.
General Guidelines· The English Record welcomes reflections, essays, narratives of lesson or unit plans, and research reports (especially of teacher research studies) as long as there are clear implications for English teachers and administrators.
· Length requirements: Anywhere from 500 to 10,000 well-edited, well-proofread words.
· Please include a short bio for each author.
· All submissions will be put through our peer-review process.
· All submissions should be in APA format and can be sent as Word documents via e-mail to theenglishrecord@gmail.com
