As English educators, we nurture our students’ voices, but when was the last time we nurtured our own? In a time that feels particularly challenging, it is
more important than ever that we take care of ourselves and each other. This online writing retreat is an invitation to step away from the demands of teaching
and leading and rediscover the power of your own voice. We invite you to join us and educators across the state as we gather in community to engage in creative
practices of writing, storytelling, and collective dialogue—not to craft lesson plans, but to reconnect with ourselves as thinkers, creators, and dreamers. And to connect with others who are the same. Whether you’re looking to revisit your love for writing, process the complexities of your work, or simply carve out time for yourself, this retreat is for you.
