We’ve been working to update and revise our organizational Constitution and Handbook to reflect current practices as well as the work done in our “Reimagining NYSEC” extended retreat which took place virtually throughout the pandemic, from Spring 2020 through Fall 2022.
The highlights of the revisions are:
• Positions absorbed / deleted: Historian, Membership Chair, Regional Directors, Affiliate Liaison, Business Administrator, Business Secretary
• Positions added: Social Media Coordinator, Virtual PD Coordinator, Executive Director, Business Manager
The revised Constitution and Handbook will be presented for membership information and a vote called for its approval and acceptance at the annual business meeting, which will take place this year on Thursday, October 20, 2022, during our annual conference.
