Please join NYSEC on Saturday, October 2, 2021 from 9-11:30 am for the first workshop in our 2021-2022 virtual professional development series, “Understanding Diversity: Building Trust, Culture and Reflective Practice.”

For this session accailmed best selling author Nic Stone, best known for her YA novel Dear Martin and it’s companion text Dear Justyce, Odd One Out, and middle level novel Clean Getaway, will talk with attendees about the importance of diverse texts in our classroom.
