Description: Student teaching is the culminating event of teacher preparation programs. Preparing for student teaching is both exciting and challenging. You’ve probably got questions, issues, hopes, and maybe even anxieties around student teaching. Join us to hear from a panel of English education students who recently completed their student teaching. We will address common questions and concerns: What are the expectations of student teaching? How do I transition from observing to co-teaching to teaching on my own? How do you build a strong relationship with your supervising teacher? How do I make the most out of my student teaching? Come to listen, learn, think, reflect, and connect.
